TSD RENEWS COMMITMENT TO EPA SMARTWAY
TSD Logistics is proud to participate in the EPA’s SmartWay program as a Transport Partner. TSD became a logistics company partner in 2012.
The SmartWay Transport Partnership, a business organization run by the United States government, encourages companies in transportation and logistics to conduct operations in an environmentally responsible way. Formed in 2004, SmartWay is administered by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) and housed within the USEPA’s Office of Transportation and Air Quality.
SmartWay’s goals include improved fuel efficiency and a reduction in environmental impacts from freight transport. There are currently about 600 voluntary member businesses. The organization incentivizes innovation and recognizes top performers to encourage continued improvement.
As a SmartWay logistics company partner, TSD Logistics remains committed to the environment by helping our carriers reduce fuel usage and increase efficiency, which in turn benefits our shippers. We always seek ways to do business that protect our natural resources for future generations.
